Great Lakes Recovery Centers offers substance abuse counseling through a therapeutic approach to recovery. Clients are given addiction treatment after assessment of their needs, after which they are given intensive treatment to deal with their destructive habits. They offer personalized counseling to the clients after assessment; this personalization also allows the client to receive dual-diagnosis counseling if needed. This outpatient counseling program can also provide behavioral counseling for obsessive, educational, sexual, and trauma-based issues. This program is mainly used as a follow-up program by individuals that have completed the residential recovery service.
