Harbor House Inc. has designed its building structure to offer a serene location where the clients can help recovery in a stable and comfortable environment from their addiction disorders. They offer recovery treatment to adults for substance abuse and chemical disorders through their inpatient rehabilitation recovery service; this service provides long and short-term recovery care. The duration of the inpatient rehabilitation is determined by the recovery rate of the client during the regular counselling sessions. These clients are given utmost care during the detoxification process that lessens the withdrawal symptoms felt by the client during recovery. During this stage, the clients are offered encouragement to empower them towards goals. The clients are offered group counselling and individual counselling sessions that aim to provide better social and personal coping mechanisms to deal with cravings and peer pressure. Those individuals that complete their primary recovery programs have the opportunity to join the sober living session. The sober living sessions provide support services to these people, so they can maintain their life of sobriety.
