Hogar Crea Aguadilla provides a framed and spiritual recovery system through the substance abuse treatment programs to modify the client’s behavior so that they can develop healthier character and behavior over the course of therapy. They use the Therapeutic Community Method to re-educate the clients by giving them a structured rehabilitation; it helps them learn healthy skills physical and emotional values and life skills. This therapy method aims to improve the confidence, generosity, autonomy, initiative, and productivity of the client. They use this therapeutic module in the group, individual, confrontational, occupational, education, and recreational, and spiritual guidance sessions. They are given housing and meals if the client is found to be homeless, they are also offered primary medical services when the recovery programs are in motion. The clients are also offered detoxification services if they have severe addiction issues, they are also given education assistance during recovery. Clients can also receive vocational rehab therapy as well as psychological therapy for various behavioral issues as they are undergoing the substance abuse counselling through the individual and group therapy session. Many other social programs are also available for the support and encouragement of the client.
