Hogar Crea’s method of substance abuse treatment is spiritual and bio-psycho-social, it allows the addict to learn better and healthier behavior through various therapeutic elements. The Therapeutic Community Method aims to offer a health re-orientation of negative behavior through the re-education of behavior and skills of life. They offer this treatment to the clients, so they can learn to develop better personalities and grow self-responsibility through various methods. They also offer recovery services through psychotherapy for co-occurring mental disorders that may have been affecting the client’s behavior. They use the CTM model of therapy in several of their development stages such as the individuals, group, and family counselling sessions; they also use it in the education, occupational training session, recreation sessions, spiritual guidance sessions, and confrontational sessions. The adult clients will receive these recovery services through long-term and short-term rehabilitation services that aim to heal the client spiritually, mentally, and physically. The clients are given detoxification services as well in case they have been diagnosed with severe substance abuse disorder, during this session they are given support and comfort, so they can smoothly move past the withdrawal stage.
