Lancaster Freedom Center

Lancaster Freedom Center offers addiction recovery and treatment to individuals and families through various programs. They offer substance abuse therapy through the intensive outpatient program, which employs weekly counselling sessions to offer intensive counsel. This treatment has been designed to act as an alternative to residential treatment for clients with a busy schedule. The duration of this program is typically 3 to 6 weeks; the exact date depends upon the client’s own recovery rate. They offer treatment through specialized outpatient groups such as Women's Early Recovery Group, Generations Group, Men's Early Recovery Group, Family Group, and Educational/Outpatient Therapy Group. The Women's Early Recovery Group offers support and counsel to women through weekly NA and AA meetings. Generations Group offers support and counsel to clients that have addiction issues later in life; they cater to senior clients with substance abuse disorders. Men's Early Recovery Group offers support and counsel to men that have completed the primary counselling plan; it helps them remain sober after the completion of the program. Family Group provides support to family members of the clients; it aims to educate them so that they may help their relative during recovery. Detoxification services also available through the Buprenorphine Assisted Treatment, which offers counselling and support during the withdrawal phase.
