Mending Hearts has dedicated its recovery services to provide specialized rehabilitation services to women that have addiction and substance issues. They use an integrated system of recovery that offers treatment and stabilization of the client’s lifestyle. The integrated methods deal with substance abuse disorders and co-occurring mental health disorders. They also offer behavioral counselling to the women under their care. The clients with less intense counselling issues can find treatment through the intensive outpatient treatment program that offers many therapeutic services. The service included in this program are group therapy, individual therapy, addiction education lectures, skill building groups, experiential building groups, self-help programs, seeking safety sessions, family seminars, and many other sessions of the like. They also offer peer support community with halfway housing services; this program aims to reintegrate the client back into the society. They offer two phases of recovery; phase one offers counselling sessions for self-care, self-esteem, GED classes, NA/AA meetings, criminal thing groups, financial planning, and trauma safety sessions. The phase of the clients encourages them to implement the life skills taught in phase one as they receive support services through group and relapse prevention services.
