About this center

Grace MBTC is a non-denominational, Christ-centered residential discipleship program in Paragould, Arkansas, operating as a division of Mission Teens, Inc. The program offers an 8 to 10 month residential stay at no cost to residents, serving adults 18 and older who are struggling with alcohol, drug, or emotional problems.

A Free, Residential Discipleship Program in Paragould

Grace MBTC operates under Mission Teens, Inc., a non-profit, non-denominational organization founded in 1969 that has served more than 25,000 people across its network of centers nationwide. The Paragould center provides a structured residential environment built around Christian discipleship, with a daily schedule that includes five and a half hours of Bible study, equivalent, the program notes, to approximately one year of Bible school. The center does not charge residents for its services and receives no government or denominational funding, operating entirely through private donations. Almost all staff are program graduates who serve as missionaries without salary, giving back by reaching others.

A Four-Phase Discipleship Training Program

The program at Grace MBTC is divided into four phases, each lasting two to four months, with privileges and responsibilities increasing as each phase is completed. The first phase is a two-month induction period focused on learning house rules and beginning to seek the Lord. The middle two phases introduce general household responsibilities and allow phone and in-person contact with immediate family only. The final phase places residents in counselor training, where they counsel one person daily and report to senior staff. Upon completing the program, graduates may be offered an additional 10 to 12 month staff training commitment. The center is led by Assistant Executive Directors Paul and Donna Carlin, with Ryan Carlin serving as Assistant Executive Director.

Long-Term Residential Recovery in Northeast Arkansas

For men and women in Arkansas and surrounding areas seeking a free, long-term residential program rooted in Christian faith, Grace MBTC offers an 8 to 10 month discipleship-based recovery program in Paragould, staffed almost entirely by program graduates, with no cost to residents.
