New Directions offers a number of counselling and treatment programs that deal with mental health and addiction issues. New Directions Northwest Behavioral Health and Wellness offers a wide range of substance abuse, addiction, mental health, and prevention services. After which, an individualized treatment plan is prepared to treat any personal mental health issues or addiction issues effectively. They use psychotherapeutic interventions and Cognitive behavioural therapy to help the clients deal with stress, anxiety, depressions, borderline personality disorder, and PTSD. They offer group and individual treatment options to the clients at the facility. Adult clients can also receive skill training, benefits management, strength-based counselling, and medication management services. Clients with acute and severe disorders are also offered transitional livening services for support and guidance. Intensive community-based treatment is also available for families dealing with addiction issues. Other services that are available at this facility include Educational Groups on Addictions, Short-term sobering services, Community Corrections program, Suicide Prevention, and Community Outreach services.
