New Directions offers inpatient rehabilitation for drug and addiction issues in the Recovery Village center. It provides long-term treatment to parents with addiction; they can also bring children of age 0 to 6 during the treatment. This program has been specially designed for parents that have fallen into addictive behaviors due to the stress of their lives. This program uses an integrative approach towards therapy to treat both substance abuse and mental health issues. Clients are offered weekly group sessions and individual sessions once a week. The group sessions are also used to teach various other mechanisms and behaviors through a proper therapeutic counsel. Clients are offered health and wellness group services, where they are taught to live healthily and productively. They are offer Drug and Education counselling to raise awareness about dependency disorders. They offer co-occurring counselling to help the client manage their mental health and addiction issues. They also offer specialized groups for female clients to help them deal with gender-specific issues; this session is available through the group sessions. Parenting classes are also available through this program; it guides the client so that they may become better parents. This program uses Setting Boundaries and Thinking Barriers group sessions to teach the client to make better life decisions.
