Open Homes Fellowship

Updated on: 8 January 2026

About this center

Open Homes Fellowship is a long-term, Christian residential recovery program in Orlando, Florida that helps adult men overcome alcohol and drug addiction through faith, structure, and community support. The program is grounded in a spiritually-centered worldview that places personal transformation and relationship with Jesus Christ at the heart of recovery.

A Residential Environment That Anchors Daily Change

Rather than short-term or episodic care, Open Homes Fellowship provides a multi-month residential experience where participants live on campus in structured housing designed to support sobriety, routine, and personal responsibility. Residents are encouraged to step away from the chaos addiction creates and focus on rebuilding their lives in a safe, drug-free setting that supports reflection and accountability.

Integrated Faith, Work, and Community Support

Recovery at Open Homes is shaped by a combination of faith-based engagement, meaningful responsibilities, and peer support. Men participate in regular classes, small group sessions, and worship gatherings, all aimed at strengthening spiritual grounding and relational health. The community encourages active engagement in daily routines and accountability measures that reinforce new habits and healthy decision-making.

Personal Growth Through Responsibility and Independence

As participants progress, they are encouraged to pursue employment, take on responsibilities within the residential community, and support newer residents. This emphasis on personal contribution and leadership builds resilience and life skills, supporting the transition from surviving addiction to living well in recovery.

A Faith-Centered Recovery Path for Men Seeking Renewal

Open Homes Fellowship is designed for men ready to engage in a faith-centered, communal recovery journey where daily living and spiritual formation are connected. The program creates space for personal insight, relational repair, and long-term growth grounded in community and purpose beyond addiction.
