Outback offers a compassionate and therapeutic recovery program that uses immersive treatment approach for the recovery of behavioral issues in young clients. By using such a multi-disciplinary plan of treatment, they tackle all sides of the behavioral issues and reorient the access energy towards positive behavior. They specialize in healing the bonds between the young clients and their families through private wilderness therapy programs. Their programs use short-term rehabilitation for immediate results; this program uses multiple treatment options that would be personally beneficial to the client’s recovery. Their wilderness therapy does not use the traditionally used carrot/stick approach; rather they focus on improving the good aspects of their life and encouraging positive behaviors through individualized mentorship programs. This mentorship program heavily relies on the family counselling because they believe that children are more likely to relapse if the families involved do not grow together during their recovery.
