Pennsylvania Adult & Teen Challenge – Western PA

Teen Challenge of Western Pennsylvania has prepared individualized treatment programs for teen addicts. They offer treatment to adolescents through short and long-term rehabilitation programs that have been specially developed for the clients. They offer a 30-day clinical addiction service, which uses integrated mental health counselling and cognitive behavioural therapy for the treatment of substance abuse and co-occurring disorders. It uses a multi-dimensional approach to the treatment, which allows the client to remain focused and motivated throughout the treatment. They also offer long-term residential recovery services for the treatment of substance abuse and mental health issues. This program uses faith-based rehabilitation services during the treatment to guide the clients. Their program has been modified from a 12-step recovery rehabilitation plan; it now offers community services, chapel sessions, and bible studies to help the clients spiritually. This facility also offers detoxification and withdrawal management services at their facility. This service aims to provide stabilization and holistic care to the client during the withdrawal stage.
