Renaissance Refuge is a women-only, faith-based addiction recovery program with its primary residential facility in Heyburn, Idaho. The center operates as the women’s division of Renaissance Ranch and offers a continuum of care that combines gospel-centered programming with evidence-based clinical treatment. Renaissance Refuge serves adult women dealing with addiction to alcohol, opioids, methamphetamine, cocaine, benzodiazepines, and prescription drugs, and its treatment model is designed to address the trauma, anxiety, and depression that often accompany substance use. The facility accepts most major insurance and Medicaid.
Detox and Residential Treatment in Heyburn
The Heyburn campus houses two levels of care. Sub-acute medical detox provides three to seven days of medically supervised withdrawal management with 24/7 medical and clinical oversight, helping women safely stabilize and clear substances in a comfort-focused, trauma-informed setting. From there, women can transition directly into a 60-day residential program in the facility’s red-brick residential home. Residential treatment is delivered by licensed clinicians and includes individual and group therapy, trauma-focused care with EMDR, faith-integrated 12-step programming (offered but never required), family education and reconnection workshops, and recreation and creative expression activities.
Ongoing Support and Continuing Care
Beyond residential treatment, Renaissance Refuge offers an eight-month intensive outpatient program based in Burley with three group sessions per week, individual therapy, relapse prevention coaching, life-skills training, and family support services. An online IOP is also available for women in Idaho and Utah. Women’s sober living in Burley provides a drug- and alcohol-free home environment with an on-site house manager for three to nine months, and it can be paired with IOP or used independently after completing residential care. The center’s Sober Sisters alumni community provides ongoing peer connection through weekly meetings, quarterly retreats, and annual events, along with free aftercare for life.
