Renaissance Refuge operates a women’s residential treatment ranch in Middleton, Idaho, situated in a rural setting in the Treasure Valley west of Boise. The facility is the women’s division of Renaissance Ranch and provides immersive, faith-based addiction recovery in an environment designed to separate women from the surroundings where their addiction developed. Renaissance Refuge treats adult women dealing with addiction to alcohol, opioids, methamphetamine, cocaine, benzodiazepines, and prescription drugs, with a treatment approach that integrates clinical care with gospel-centered principles. The facility accepts most major insurance and Medicaid.
Residential Treatment on a Rural Ranch Setting
Women at the Middleton ranch live on-site and follow a structured daily schedule that combines clinically proven therapy, 12-step work, and faith-centered community. The rural location offers space and quiet intended to support focused healing, and the program is built around a sisterhood model where women recover alongside one another. Licensed clinicians deliver individual and group therapy, with trauma-focused care and EMDR available as part of the clinical framework. The 12-step component is faith-integrated but participation is a choice, not a requirement. The residential program is full-time and immersive, with the expectation that women dedicate themselves entirely to recovery for the duration of their stay.
Stepping Down to Outpatient Care
Most women completing residential treatment at the Middleton ranch transition to Renaissance Refuge’s Boise outpatient office for continued intensive outpatient programming, maintaining the same clinical team and recovery framework as they move to a less restrictive level of care. The organization also operates a residential campus and sub-acute medical detox program in Heyburn, sober living and IOP in Burley, and an online IOP option for women in Idaho and Utah. The Sober Sisters alumni community provides long-term peer connection after formal treatment ends, with weekly meetings, quarterly retreats, annual events, and free aftercare for life.
