Salt Lake County has a general health and welfare service for the residents of its community. Through the Youth Services, young adults and adolescents can find substance abuse counselling and job training skills. Their services work in the interest of these young clients and offer many after-school programs so they can educate and heal themselves simultaneously. The after-school program has been specifically designed to give the young minds a chance to flourish through fun and educational activities. This organization has also placed 88 locations that use their Safe Place Program to offer shelter to the troubled youth. They offer prevention program for the troubled youth at risk of addiction through the real deal anger management, guiding good choices, discovering possibilities, and the strengthening families’ classes. The counselling services for substance abuse is available through the short-term recovery rehabilitation service, which also offers many other intensive home-based and facility-based services.
