Residential Recovery Program
The Rockford ARC follows the Salvation Army’s 180-day residential work-therapy model, offering a structured, substance-free living environment where participants address both the immediate symptoms and underlying causes of addiction. The program integrates group and individual counseling, spiritual care, life skills training, and recreational activities into a daily routine centered on work therapy. Residents take part in work assignments of up to forty hours per week, designed to build dependable work habits and restore a sense of purpose and self-worth. As graduation approaches, staff provide support with job readiness, including resume development, interview preparation, and workplace conduct training.

The program is offered at no charge, and insurance is not required for admission. Participants receive housing, meals, and counseling throughout their stay, with the overarching goal of helping individuals regain stability and reintegrate into the community as self-sufficient members.
