Salvation Army – Clitheroe Center

The Clitheroe Center can provide adult rehabilitation for men and women struggling with substance abuse and addiction problems. This can be done through holistic work-therapy, individual and group counseling, spiritual direction, and the development of life skills coping abilities.nThe Salvation Army is known for having drug and alcohol addiction rehabilitation centers and programs set up all across the nation. Anchorage, Alaska has their own Salvation Army program in the form of the Salvation Army Clitheroe Center. This center’s hallmark is that if offers treatment services to addicts at a very, very low cost if those addicts are low income, and it offers free treatment to addicts who have no income. The Salvation Army Clitheroe Center offers both inpatient services, outpatient services, and detoxification as well as long term residential services. The center focuses mainly on a Christian-based approach, but there are other approaches and other paths at the center that clients can follow if they choose.
