Founder, Executive Director, Counselor, and interventionist. Director duties: Plan, organize, direct, and supervise all activities of the agency. Hire, develop, manage, and supervise clinical staff. Perform administrative duties. Prepare program reports. Monitor adherence to state licensing requirements. Conduct ongoing program evaluation. Maintain relationships with other service providers, schools, probation, and parole. Participate in academic and community oriented service and outreach groups.
Counselor duties: Provide evaluations and assessments. Develop and implement treatment plans. Conduct therapy sessions for individuals, families, and groups. Draft and update progress notes. Collaborate with appropriate legal, medical, and educational multidisciplinary team to ensure effective holistic treatment. Comply with the laws governing mental health and alcohol/substance abuse treatment agenciesat local, state, and federal levels.
Interventionist duties: Conduct intake, screening, assessment, planning, coordination and execution of interventions for substances, eating, and mental health related disorders. Provide escort services, laison between patient, family, and treatment center. Case management, discharge, and referral for continuing care including outpatient therapy.
