The Baltimore Station is a comprehensive recovery care facility dedicated to providing treatment to veterans and individuals who are struggling with addiction, homelessness, and poverty. Their services use an innovative system of therapeutic services and counseling treatments. Their services include substance abuse counseling, behavioral health challenges, and various other client-based programs. This facility offers professional counseling for these individuals; it offers them enlightening and empowering care. Their substance abuse services are mainly available through the inpatient service, through the long-term and short-term residential service. Their services also are extremely budget friendly and allow individuals of all status to find help under their care. Their special services include sober living services.nThe Baltimore Station is an excellent and helpful drug and alcohol addiction and dependence treatment center, detox facility, rehabilitation program, and recovery organization. This rehab center offers residential long term substance abuse treatment. The treatment program offered here is longer than thirty days of addiction treatment care.nAt The Baltimore Station, we concentrate on helping those we know most about – those we can do the most for – men who have valiantly served our country and have fallen on hard times. We know that they suffer a special kind of hell, returning to society with the effects of combat (including Post Traumatic Stress Disorder), often turning to drugs to silence the trauma. We know the cycle that can spin out of control, leading to poverty, estrangement and homelessness. We know what it takes to break that cycle – a highly structured environment – because most of our staff is in recovery themselves and half are veterans. Recovery is not a “quick fix” battle. It’s a long tough war.nWe understand that recovery is not a one-month miracle. It’s a lifetime of a new reality. Most institutional treatment programs last for 28 days. Unfortunately, that’s not the time or the treatment it takes to “detox” the mind of the drug-addicted lifestyle and outlook. Our residents progress at their own speed with the average residential stay being between 6 and 24 months.nWe don’t coddle, indulge and pamper. We structure, direct and even demand. We believe real change requires months of a highly structured, therapeutic environment to learn a new way of living. Each of our residents learns to look at himself and realizes he must take responsibility for his life and behavior. We know this works because every member of our counseling staff is a graduate of our program. Our staff gives support and guidance by demonstrating recovery every day, and with the help of our partner organizations, we are able to offer additional resources such as health care, education, employment and rehabilitation.nThe Baltimore Station rehab program offers sober living and low cost treatment solutions. The Baltimore Station offers treatment on a budget. What costs do remain can be covered by insurance policies such as GEHA Health Plans and Policies, APS Health Care Insurance, Aetna Health Care, Cigna Health Care, Coventry Insurance PPO, The First Care Health Plans Organization, HCSC Health Insurance Inc., United Health Care Services, Magellan Health Services, Exclusive Care Health Care Inc., LifeSynch Health Plans, the First Health Network, Sunshine State Health Plan, APS PPO Health Care, and others too. The Baltimore Station rehab program is located in the heart of Baltimore, offering Baltimore addicts an effective and low cost way out of the addiction struggle. The program also offers an effective and helpful aftercare option for those who need it. The Baltimore Station rehab program also offers referrals for those who need to enter into a different program.
