The Foundry Ministries – The Foundry Farm

Updated on: 11 February 2026

About this center

The Foundry Farm is a unique long-term, faith-based residential recovery program operated by Foundry Ministries on a rural, farm-style campus in Cullman, Alabama. It combines agricultural activity, structured daily living, spiritual guidance, and recovery support in a setting where therapeutic engagement and everyday responsibilities are woven together across an extended multi-month residential pathway designed to build stability, purpose, and personal growth.

A Farming Environment That Blends Routine, Work, and Healing

Located on rolling acreage with gardens, animal care, and farm operations, The Foundry Farm situates recovery work within the rhythms of agricultural life. Participants engage in meaningful farm tasks as part of a structured daily schedule that also includes recovery classes, community meetings, and reflective activity. This agriculture-integrated model aims to build responsibility, routine, and coping skills through hands-on work that reinforces therapeutic principles and personal accountability.

Spiritual and Community-Anchored Support Within Residential Life

Daily life at The Foundry Farm weaves spiritual formation, Christian teaching, and group support into the residential experience. The program encourages participants to integrate recovery insights with daily routines, peer support, and community living, helping individuals develop healthier habits and personal resilience while supported by staff and fellow residents.

Phased Residential Engagement With Responsibility and Growth

The Foundry Farm operates as part of Foundry Ministries’ broader suite of long-term programs, and its model often includes phases of increasing responsibility, accountability milestones, and opportunities for structured community integration. The setting encourages development of practical skills, both through farm work and structured sessions, that can support transition into more independent living as recovery progresses.

A Residential Recovery Pathway Rooted in Structure, Work, and Purpose

By embedding recovery work into the day-to-day responsibilities of community life and farm operations, The Foundry Farm offers an option for adults seeking sustained engagement in physical, emotional, and spiritual growth. Its combination of therapeutic activity, practical work, structured routine, and community support is designed to help participants move beyond isolated treatment episodes toward lasting lifestyle change.
