The House of Time

Being a non-profit community-based program, The House of Times offers exceptionally well-structured recovery services for homeless women over the age of 18. It gives give them an opportunity to start a new life through their long-term residential program, which can be as long as two years. The recovery program includes substance abuse treatment, mental disorder treatment, and many other services of the like. It uses professional staff to keep 24 hours check on its residential clients. It also offers therapy sessions and life skills classes during their stay at the facility to ensure a lifelong sober and healthy life.

Drug and alcohol addiction is a hardship and a worry like no other that has caused innumerable problems and created major issues left and right.  Substance abuse is difficult and upsetting to say the least, and now more than ever before it can and should be addressed before it gets any worse.  The House of Time rehab center does what needs to be done to assist people in winning the battle against addiction once and for all.

Our program is nine to twenty four months in duration, with a minimum nine-month commitment.
We offer each resident the opportunity to address issues such as sexual, physical and emotional
abuse, lack of education and poor health care, while teaching her the life skills needed for
independent living. We have on staff two primary counselors, a residential manager, a clinical
coordinator and a life skills counselor. We also have a Licensed Therapist/Physicians’ Assistant
and a GED Teacher on contract weekly.

Residents live in transitional houses and apartments called recovery residences (shared by 4-7 
women) where they reside as family units.  They share cooking, cleaning and other household 
duties.  Our transitional recovery residences are nestled on the edge of the medical community in Columbus, Georgia.

The House of Time is a holistic, long term, residential drug and alcohol addiction treatment center of the very best kind.  The House of Time helps people and engages them in a workable and focused addiction treatment approach.  The House of Time basically is essentially a recognized and affluent, successful, engaging, recovery-minded, both one on one therapy based and group counseling based approach to drug and alcohol addiction and dependence treatment, rehabilitation, detoxification, recovery, and permanent sobriety.  The House of Time can be paid for with self pay, or it can be funded with private health insurance through Coventry Insurance PPO Unlimited, The Community Health Choice Association, GEHA Health Plans and Policies Incorporated, APS Health Care Insurance Options, Aetna Health Care, Cigna Health Care, Cooks Children's and Adult’s Health Plan and First Care Approach, The PPO Managed Health Network Incorporated, and Blue Cross and Blue Shield Coverage Opportunities.
