One of the problems within the field of addiction is some "referral agencies" are, in fact, owned by treatment centers to fill their beds, which is by itself misleading visitors. This is widely covered on the Internet https://theintercept.com/2017/10/17/google-search-drug-use-opioid-epidemic/.

DRS and RNT CONSULTING LLC are an independent website and call center not owned by any treatment. We are also trying to refer you to treatment that believes in good treatment practice, not rehabs that substitute an addiction with another dependency using medication. We believe that a drug-free life can be achieved. Medication can be used but only for detox purpose.

Our goal is to give you the possibility of attain a drug-free life.

Treatment Centers Using Buprenorphine in D.C

In the District Capital, there are many different drug problems that local authorities have to face and work to handle, and heroin is one of the bigger problems that plague inner-city streets and the people living within the area. There are many different treatment resources available throughout the state, and some of these treatment programs use the drug Buprenorphine as part of the treatment and detox method to help opiate addicts get clean off of the drugs they are using. These services can be provided in short-term and long-term treatment along with residential and outpatient services. Detox facilities can also use this drug to help a heroin addict get through the withdrawals and remain off of the drugs while they are going through drug rehab. Drug treatment can be effective, but it does take some willingness from the addict to want to get help and become clean off of drugs. Heroin is a very addictive drug, and most addicts are stuck on the drug over long periods of time and have not been able to create an opportunity to get the effective help they need.

Did you know this about Buprenorphine Detox?

Buprenorphine is a partial μ-opioid agonist and κ-opioid antagonist with a long half-life and less abuse potential than methadone. For detoxification, buprenorphine is at least equivalent to methadone and is superior to clonidine.

Are Buprenorphine withdrawals dangerous?

Depending on the amount the user is taking the withdrawals could potentially be risky. When addicts are taking substantial amounts of the drug, the withdrawal process will take longer, as the dosage must be slowly lessened. Unfortunately, with these large amounts of the drug being taken, the person will have a high dependency to the drug. The body will react very poorly to not having the drug, and this is why a Buprenorphine detox is an important step for people on the drug.
