Struggling with drug and alcohol addiction is difficult, and members of the LGBTQ community in South Dakota who are addicted to drugs should be reaching out to local treatment services for help. There is an estimated 20 to 30% of the LGBTQ community who is struggling with a substance use disorder. When searching for drug treatment programs in the state, you should be considering what will be the best treatment solution. For example, some addicts may require long-term inpatient care or a short-term program. There may be some drug treatment centers in the state, which would offer LGBTQ specific treatment services, which could be counseling and therapy for the problems that LGBTQ people do struggle with. Regardless of how severe the addiction may or may not be; you should be finding the proper help.
