One of the best ways families can help an addict at home is to continually support them going to rehab and getting help. Drug treatment is the best option for any addict, regardless of how severe the addiction may be. The family should always be encouraging the addict to get help, and if nothing is working take a tough-love approach or conduct an intervention.
