Drug and alcohol abuse only worsen the longer it is left untreated. When an addict falls deeper down the hole, it becomes more difficult to treat the addiction. For some parents living in New York, battling addiction with their children around them is a dangerous situation. When this happens the parents or parents are at risk of losing their child.
