Drug & Alcohol Treatment Services for the Hispanic Community in Delaware

For many Hispanic Americans living in Delaware, substance abuse with drugs and alcohol is a real problem. The Substance Abuse and Mental Health Services Administration report roughly 9.5% of Hispanic Americans will experience alcohol dependency once in their lives. Alcohol abuse can lead to serious health problems, and when mixed with illegal drugs, the issue will become worse. Despite most Hispanics abstaining from alcohol, the stats do show that when they do drink, it does tend to be in excess. Hispanic Americans do experience many different health problems because of drug and alcohol use, and much of this is due to them not accessing local mental health services to receive preventative care. Drug and alcohol treatment programs in Delaware can help treat any type of drug addiction. Some of the facilities within the state could provide Spanish language options, to ensure there is not a language barrier with treatment.
