Drug and Alcohol Rehab Services with Sliding Fee Scale in Pennsylvania

Did you know this about rehabs with sliding fee scale?

Sliding fee scales are variable prices for drug and alcohol treatment and are based on the patient’s ability to pay. Sliding fee scales only work for people who have lower incomes, less money to spare, no health insurance, or no stable income. Many non-profit drug treatment centers may offer sliding fee scales to help patients.

Throughout the state of Pennsylvania are both state-funded and private drug rehab centers, many of which will provide varying payment options to help clients and their families. One of the common payment options used is a sliding scale fee payment method. This type of payment method is a payment plan based on the client’s ability to pay, and what his or her current income is. This type of payment method is not guaranteed to everyone, and the client will often have to meet some requirements based on their current financial situation. Far too often in the state, the cost of treatment will deter addicts from seeking out help. It is important for any addict to explore all the options they have available to them. Many of the private drug rehab centers in the state do offer varying payment options to help cover the cost of treatment and make it affordable.
