The Opioid Crisis in Erie County, NY
The opioid epidemic has not spared Erie County. According to a study made by the National Center for State Courts (NCSC), in 2017, there were 251 deaths in the Erie County that were opioid-related, and 65 of these fatalities were between 20-29 years old.
