Florida's Drug & Alcohol Treatment Facilities Covered By Military Insurance

Currently in the state of Florida there just over 25 different drug and alcohol rehabilitation centers, which will accept military insurance to help with covering the cost of treatment and care. Many of these facilities are government funded and come at no cost or low cost, but military insurance will cover most of the cost involved if any.

It is not uncommon for members of the United States Military or retired members to struggle with substance abuse or some type of drug dependency. Health insurance within the United States Military is provided through the Military Health System, and these types of healthcare plans can help pay for drug and alcohol treatment services in Florida. Anyone living in Florida, who is a member of the United States Military or is a retired member and is struggling with a drug or alcohol addiction can have treatment options covered through their health insurance. This can include such facilities that provide inpatient care, intensive outpatient services, detox, treatment for opioid addiction, or a hospitalization inpatient program in Florida. Tricare is the civilian health insurance provider who is overseen by the Defense Health Agency, and there will be some drug and alcohol treatment facilities in the state of Florida that will take Tricare health insurance.
