What length of time should I stay in treatment for?

The length of time an addict should stay in treatment will depend on the severity of the addiction, the types of drugs being used, and how long they addict has been using drugs for. A long-term inpatient drug rehab center will offer a program of three to six months, where as a short-term facility will provide programs for one to two months. If an addict has been using drugs for a long time, they will benefit from a longer-term treatment option, as the length of time will allow more well-rounded and in-depth rehabilitation.
