Intensive Outpatient Programs for Drug & Alcohol Addiction in Colorado

What makes an intensive outpatient center successful?

The success of an intensive outpatient center is dependent on how willing the patient is to receive help, meaning how well they are responding to treatment. An addict does not necessarily have to be 100% willing to receive help, but rather be willing to see small changes within his or her life. Once an addict begins to see these changes, they will start to believe that sobriety is possible. Drug rehabilitation is not an easy process, and it will take a lot of work for each patient to see the success they want.

Alcohol and Drug Addiction Intensive Outpatient Treatment Programs In Colorado

The Substance Abuse and Mental Health Services Administration website do provide a directory listing of intensive outpatient drug rehab centers that includes a list of over 180 programs operating throughout the state. Intensive outpatient centers do not necessarily provide detox services or offer residential care, but the client will attend treatment daily. Each outpatient center offers different lengths of time for treatment, and this can be either for a couple of weeks or upwards of a month, but this is dependent on how severe the addiction is and what types of treatment are needed for each client.
