Kentucky Partial Hospitalization Programs for Alcohol and Drug Addiction

Across the state of Kentucky, drug and alcohol addiction impact many people, and finding the proper help is important. Partial hospitalization programs are often referred to as day programs and are outpatient treatment options. These types of services are different from typical outpatient centers because they provide more in-depth help and care. This can make it beneficial for an addict who requires daily medical monitoring, or medical services/medication management. Many different types of treatment services are provided through short-term partial hospitalization programs. For example, there will be detox offered for mild to moderate withdrawal symptoms, however; most partial hospitalization programs will not be capable of delivering medically assisted or supervised detox. Anyone struggling with addiction in Kentucky and who does not need 24-hour long-term care may benefit from a partial hospitalization program in the state. Partial hospitalization programs are also excellent step-down services for addicts who have already completed a residential drug rehab program.
