Manassas is a city that can be found in the state of Virginia. Home to an estimated population of around 41,000 people as of 2019 according to the United States Census Bureau, Manassas is one of the smaller cities in the state by population. But even being sparsely populated is not enough to avoid the drug epidemic which has been affecting the nation since the early 2000s. in 2019 there were 15.4 Drug deaths for every 100,000 residents of the state according to a report published by America's Health Rankings. This rate shows exactly how many people are not getting the help that they need when it comes to drug and alcohol rehabilitation and detox services. Each drug death was a life that could have been saved if the person had gotten the right kind of help for their needs at the right point in their life. But so many people never make it into treatment before losing their lives to drugs. This shows why it is so important to act before it is too late. Accidental overdose can occur at any time during addiction, but it is most common when a person first begins using drugs because their tolerance is so low. This is why you should never wait when it comes to addiction. Act now before it is too late.
