One of the problems within the field of addiction is some "referral agencies" are, in fact, owned by treatment centers to fill their beds, which is by itself misleading visitors. This is widely covered on the Internet https://theintercept.com/2017/10/17/google-search-drug-use-opioid-epidemic/.

DRS and RNT CONSULTING LLC are an independent website and call center not owned by any treatment. We are also trying to refer you to treatment that believes in good treatment practice, not rehabs that substitute an addiction with another dependency using medication. We believe that a drug-free life can be achieved. Medication can be used but only for detox purpose.

Our goal is to give you the possibility of attain a drug-free life.

Maryland Partial Hospitalization Programs for Alcohol and Drug Addiction

Did you know this about partial hospitalization?

A partial hospitalization program is a short-term but intensive clinical treatment. Clients have a programming throughout the day and they get to go home in the evenings.

Partial hospitalization programs in Maryland consist of outpatient centers who offer clients a variety of addiction treatment support. For example, addicts can go through a detox for mild or moderate withdrawal symptoms, but not every partial hospitalization program will provide medically supervised detox. Medical services such as nurses and doctors are often on staff to administer medication and treat any type of physical complication caused from substance abuse. Partial hospitalization programs are outpatient, and the patient will not stay the night, but rather attend daily. These types of drug treatment programs in Maryland are good options for addicts who do not require 24-hour care. Partial hospitalization programs are also great choices for a recovering drug addict who has already been through an inpatient drug treatment program, and requires more help and support. Anyone who may be unsure with if a partial hospitalization program will work should reach out to the local treatment resources and go through an initial assessment.
Here is a list of the different partial hospitalization programs (PHP)/Intensive day programs (IDP) offered in Maryland. The list can be incomplete so please do not hesitate to contact one of our counselors at 1-800-304-2219.
