Massachusetts Partial Hospitalization Programs for Alcohol and Drug Addiction

Partial hospitalization programs are often referred to as day programs and are outpatient drug treatment centers who provide a more in-depth level of care than a typical outpatient center. Across the state of Massachusetts are many different types of drug and alcohol rehabilitation services, and partial hospitalization programs are a viable option to help addicts through a difficult addiction. These types of programs can offer individual and group therapy; individual therapy is one on one care, and a patient meets with a therapist or an addiction's counselor to work through the unhealthy behavior connected to the addiction. A partial hospitalization program in Massachusetts can be a great option for an addict who has already completed a residential drug rehab center and wants further help during recovery. Partial hospitalization drug rehab programs are short-term and do not require the addict to live at the center during the course of his or her treatment.
