Michigan Detoxification & Rehabs for PCP (Phencyclidine) Addiction

PCP, or phencyclidine is a drug that is similar to ketamine, and is a potent dissociative anesthetic and tranquilizer. PCP was once used for medical reasons, but is no longer done so because of the dangerous side effects. PCP will cause hallucinations, out-of-body experiences, delusions, and dangerous irrational behavior. PCP is listed as a Schedule II Definition of the word Schedule II drug, and is illegal within the United States. However, PCP is still recreationally abused throughout the United States. The drug can and will cause severe addictions and dependencies. The dependency may not be as bad physically, but users of PCP will struggle with difficult psychological dependencies. PCP addiction in Michigan can be treated at one of the different residential or outpatient drug treatment programs. Depending on the severity of the addiction and what other drugs may be involved, an addict may have to attend either a conventional detox or a medical detox program in Michigan.
