DRS and RNT CONSULTING LLC are an independent website and call center not owned by any treatment. We are also trying to refer you to treatment that believes in good treatment practice, not rehabs that substitute an addiction with another dependency using medication. Alcohol And Drug Rehab Treatments For Military In Missouri

Currently in the state of Missouri, there are many different drug and alcohol treatment facilities and centers where military personnel, service members and veterans can get help for their addiction and other physical and mental ailments. Many addictions can take old quickly especially when the drugs and or alcohol are abused frequently, and the problems that caused the addiction are not handled right away. For many families of addicts, it can be difficult to find the right kind of help and find a treatment center that will accept them immediately. Many treatment centers require the addict to be sober or at least detoxed off of the drugs they are taking; this is not always easy to do. For example, when an active service member becomes addicted to opiates, which may have been prescribed for an injury and to help with pain management, the addict will become physically addicted to the medications.

Did you know this about drug programs for military personnel?

The United States Military offers treatment and prevention programs for its members and retired members. There is no stigma attached to struggling with addiction and being in the military, as the help is offered, and the problems are being recognized.

The body will build up a dependency to these drugs requiring more with each use, and as the tolerance builds an addict will seek to increase their dose and or find another form of high.  If a detox is required off of opiates it will typically last anywhere from one to two weeks, and in some cases may require a medical detox, which is a supervised detox program with nurses and doctors on-site to help with the detox procedure.  Opiate addiction can be quite dangerous and does cause some long-term side effects effects both physically and mentally. Finding the right help for any addiction is very important and getting checked into a drug and alcohol treatment center is the best solution.
