Alcohol And Drug Rehab Treatments For Military In New Jersey

Throughout the state of New Jersey there many different drug and alcohol rehabilitation centers available to military personnel, service members, and veterans who may be battling addiction. For many veterans, it can be difficult to transition back into society, especially those who have done multiple tours of duty. Veterans Affairs provides various different forms of help and support for veterans who are battling an addiction and other health problems. Many veterans become addicted to prescription medications that have been prescribed to them for mental and physical health problems. Many of these prescription medications are narcotic drugs, meaning they are highly addictive in nature. Some of these veterans who become addicted to these drugs will require some form of drug and alcohol treatment and/or detox.

There are private and government-funded treatment facilities throughout the state of New Jersey. Many of the government-funded programs come at low-cost or no cost and will accept military insurance and other forms of insurance to help cover the cost of treatment. All the private programs throughout the state are covered from out of pocket and do not typically take insurance to cover the cost of treatment. Drug and alcohol rehabilitation is designed to help the addict address the underlying cause of their addiction and restore them to the person they were before they became addicted. During this time, they will improve their physical and mental health and give themselves more life tools and skills to maintain their sobriety for the rest of his or her life.
