Modified On Friday, 17, September 2021

You can find multiple substance abuse treatment and detox centers in Alaska, and some of them may include non-12-step programs. A non-twelve-step facility can help a patient by providing more specialized approaches and cognitive therapy to help treat their dependence, abuse, and addiction to drugs and or alcohol. Drug treatment centers, which do not offer twelve-step methods; do provide specific cognitive and behavioral approaches, along with physical rehabilitation to incorporate a well-rounded approach in treating addiction.
