One of the problems within the field of addiction is some "referral agencies" are, in fact, owned by treatment centers to fill their beds, which is by itself misleading visitors. This is widely covered on the Internet https://theintercept.com/2017/10/17/google-search-drug-use-opioid-epidemic/.

DRS and RNT CONSULTING LLC are an independent website and call center not owned by any treatment. We are also trying to refer you to treatment that believes in good treatment practice, not rehabs that substitute an addiction with another dependency using medication. We believe that a drug-free life can be achieved. Medication can be used but only for detox purpose.

Our goal is to give you the possibility of attain a drug-free life.

North Carolina Short Term Rehabilitation Programs

When looking for a short term residential treatment center you want to find something that will offer you all the services you need. The state of North Carolina provides just over twenty five different centers offering a short term inpatient stay. These centers are located all over the state, and help can be provided right away for your loved one. Finding the right kind of help is important and can be the deciding factor in whether or not your loved one achieves life-long sobriety.

Did you know this about short term drug treatment programs?

Short term drug and alcohol rehabilitation programs are usually associated with 28 day programs. This is not always the case, some short term programs will only last a couple weeks, but do have aftercare programs set up to help maintain sobriety.

When looking at 28-day drug and alcohol treatment programs, you may come across some that offer a “guarantee” of sorts.  Unfortunately, addiction treatment cannot really be guaranteed as when the addict leaves it is all up to them to maintain what they have given themselves.  It will also be up to them to continue to seek support when needed and ask for help when they need it.  A 28-day drug treatment program can work for an addict, if they apply what they are shown and are willing to accept some form of help, even if it just a little.

Substance Abuse Treatment Centers providing Short-Term option in North Carolina

The Substance Abuse and Mental Health Services Administration directory do list 26 short-term rehabilitation programs, which do offer many different treatment options for all types of addiction. There are numerous substance abuse treatment services throughout the state, but if the proper short-term rehab center is not located a family will have to look out of state for help.

Is there a difference between treatment facilities for men and women?

There is a difference between facilities, and this is because some women struggling with addiction will require different counseling and support for abuse, including physical abuse. Drug treatment centers for men are sometimes set up differently, and offer counseling and therapy programs set up specifically for men.

Here is a list of the different Short Term programs in North Carolina. The list can be incomplete so please do not hesitate to contact one of our counselors at 1-800-304-2219.
