Ohio Partial Hospitalization Programs for Alcohol and Drug Addiction

Partial hospitalization programs are a type of outpatient drug rehab and are often referred to as a day program. These types of drug addiction treatment services are more in-depth than a typical outpatient center and can treat addicts who require more medical supervision than what an outpatient program can provide. During the stay at a partial hospitalization program in Ohio, the patient will receive daily medical monitoring; they may be there for detox or require some type of medical service because of their addiction. Within the state of Ohio are various types of partial hospitalization programs, some that will provide detox for mild or moderate withdrawal pains, whereas other may have doctors on staff that can help with a medically supervised detox. Partial hospitalization programs will not work for every addict, and it is important to find the right type of program in the state.
