Although the statistics we have gone through are very disturbing, there is a coalition in Orleans County that is trying to help fight substance abuse and addiction head-on. It is the Orleans United Drug-Free Communities Coalition (DFCC). Its mission is to bring about a healthy community by reducing the abuse of alcohol and other drugs.
