Wisconsin Prevention And Education Programs Concerning Drugs & Alcohol

In the state of Wisconsin there are just over a couple different facilities that provide drug and alcohol education and prevention services.  These programs are run through Mothers Against Drunk Driving (MADD) and also through the Salvation Army.  It is vitally important for drug prevention programs to be set up in local communities and schools to help educate members of the community and the youth and teens about drugs and alcohol.  More teens are experimenting with drugs and they have no knowledge about what drugs can do to a person physically and mentally, and this is where an effective prevention program can help.

Did you know this about drug prevention and education?

Drug prevention programs have been around in the United States for quite some time, but it is not until the 2000’s where they have started to pick up steam with family, school, and community prevention programs. These programs are starting to see great success in preventing people from getting hooked on drugs.
