Queen Anne's County is a county that is found in the state of Maryland. Home to an estimated population of around 50,000 people as of 2019 according to the United States Census Bureau, Queen Anne's County is one of the smaller counties in the state by population. But even being sparsely populated hasn’t been enough to spare many areas like Queen Anne's County from the wrath of the country’s drug epidemic. From 2015 to 2017 there were 36 drug deaths in Queen Anne's County according to a report from County Health Rankings and Roadmaps, a rate which is surprisingly high given its population. Each of these deaths could have been avoided, and for each, there are many more people who are still using drugs and have not died yet. But without help, they certainly will meet the same fate, which is why they need help from drug and alcohol rehabilitation and detox services as soon as possible. Never wait for a loved one to be “ready” if they are using drugs. You never know which day may be their last. Act now before it is too late to help them or do anything to save their life.
