Will 12-step meetings be good enough?

Twelve-step meetings can help any addict with on-going support, but it may not always be a perfect fit for treatment for all addicts. Some former addicts have beaten their addictions with attending twelve-step meetings, but percentage-wise these are normally adults in their older years. Recovery is about continually improving one's life and moving further away from the addiction until it is no longer part of life. Twelve-step meetings may be good enough for some people, but it will not be the final fix for everyone.
