Frequently Asked Questions

Should you seek treatment in Mobile County, or look further away?

I have placed people into Mobile from all over this corner of the state, because that is where the real options are for the counties around it. If you live in Mobile, it is different. Everything is here, and so is every person and every place tied to your using. That pull to stay close is something I have seen sink a recovery. A lot of options nearby is not the same as the right conditions to get clean. The programs being in town is not a reason to stay in town. If home keeps dragging you back under, putting distance between you and it is real work, not just moving around. One thing I point out here is that the access covers situations that usually keep people from going at all. If that has been your reason for waiting, it is gone. Pick up the phone.
