Frequently Asked Questions

Should you seek treatment in Rockville, or look further away?

Rockville is a lighter daily support town, with the heavier care a drive into the metro. Locally it leans to Medicaid accepting and bilingual lighter daily support with DUI and DWI education, and more lighter daily support a few miles out in nearby towns, with live in programs about 9 miles out. Live in programs and medically supervised withdrawal care are not really in the immediate cluster. For a live in program, or for coming off alcohol or opioids, use a hospital or the SAMHSA line to find supervised withdrawal care first, because that step is the dangerous one. For someone with steady support at home and a milder situation, the local lighter daily support works well, with quick intake, telehealth and weekend options. In Montgomery County, a few miles is not distance from your environment. For someone the scene keeps pulling back, I would look at a live in program well outside the metro, not just across the county.
