One of the problems within the field of addiction is some "referral agencies" are, in fact, owned by treatment centers to fill their beds, which is by itself misleading visitors. This is widely covered on the Internet https://theintercept.com/2017/10/17/google-search-drug-use-opioid-epidemic/.

DRS and RNT CONSULTING LLC are an independent website and call center not owned by any treatment. We are also trying to refer you to treatment that believes in good treatment practice, not rehabs that substitute an addiction with another dependency using medication. We believe that a drug-free life can be achieved. Medication can be used but only for detox purpose.

Our goal is to give you the possibility of attain a drug-free life.

Residential Short Term Detox Centers For Substance Abuse in Illinois

Did you know this about short-term residential detox?

A short-term residential detox is made for someone who does not require much time to get rid of withdrawal symptoms and move on to the main rehabilitation treatment. It ranges between 3 to 7 days.

Withdrawal symptoms are different with each type of drug, and commonly abused street drugs such as cocaine, club drugs and methamphetamine will not cause dangerous symptoms of withdrawal, but can still be difficult to go through. These types of withdrawal symptoms can happen within the first couple of days, and detox can last a few days or a week. Detox is important, and cannot be avoided, despite an addict wanting to detox at home or trying to avoid a drug detox all together. Throughout the state of Illinois are different types of residential short-term detox services, such as private programs and state funded services. Private detox will typically cost the client a daily rate, and state-funded programs are low-cost or no cost. Detox is not the only part of treatment that should be done, and addicts should be encouraged to seek out further help and treatment after detox.
