The state of Idaho provides options for sober living environments where a recovering addict can live after rehab. These homes provide stable support, group meetings, and a place to start a fresh life.
Any type of sober living community in Idaho will be set up to help recovering addicts rebuild his or her life. A sober living home is a safe environment for recovering addicts to live, while they continue to work on sobriety. While you are living at the home, you will be expected to maintain full-time employment, or go to school, and or become involved within the community. Sober living homes will cost something to stay there, and this will be like paying rent each month. When you apply to stay at one of the sober living homes in Idaho, you will have to pass a background check, and you will be subject to drug and alcohol testing. Many sober living homes are connected to 12-step meetings and support groups, which may involve you attending some type of regular group or counseling session. The point of living at a sober living home is to rebuild your life and become connected with other sober individuals.
