South Dakota Partial Hospitalization Programs for Alcohol and Drug Addiction

Partial hospitalization programs are often referred to as day programs and are outpatient centers who provide a more in-depth treatment option than a standard outpatient center. Within the state of South Dakota are some different options for partial hospitalization services. These types of outpatient care can offer a higher level of treatment, which is comprehensive and patients will receive continuous medical monitoring. These are not long-term programs, and the length of time each person will need will depend on their particular addiction. Typically, a patient can attend these types of programs for a week or more, but this will vary. Partial hospitalization services are not for everyone, and these programs are best for people who may have already gone through an inpatient drug rehab center or someone who requires continuous medical monitoring. The cost of a partial hospitalization program will depend on the length of stay, but most of the centers will accept different types of health insurance.
